Core technology 1
Adaptive Gel Flocculants
Self-dosing, self-limiting chemistry that reacts in proportion to solids loading - no dosing pumps or calibration. Operates across pH 3-12 to drastically reduce TSS, heavy metals, and phosphorus.
Hardware & deployment systems
A fully self-contained, mobile wastewater treatment unit engineered for remote and infrastructure-constrained applications. Six core technologies - one integrated package, inside a single 40-foot ISO ocean container.
What is the ASRT?
Clearflow Group patented technology and Viking West Engineered Products have brought together their expertise in water treatment chemistry and industrial product manufacturing to develop a new ecosystem of innovative water treatment products. The ASRT integrates adaptive self-dosing Gel Flocculants, engineered flocculation reactors, FOG Lynx conditioning, high-rate lamella clarification, multiphase disinfection, and polishing into one automated batch process.

Six core technologies
Core technology 1
Self-dosing, self-limiting chemistry that reacts in proportion to solids loading - no dosing pumps or calibration. Operates across pH 3-12 to drastically reduce TSS, heavy metals, and phosphorus.
Core technology 2
In-line reaction chambers with cartridge-based Gel Flocculant delivery eliminate the need for a floc station or chemical pumps while precisely controlling water-gel interaction.
Core technology 3
Proprietary FOG Lynx formulation conditions fats, oils, and grease before flocculation - improving agglomeration, clarification performance, and sludge density, and rendering solids inert in under 24 hours.
Core technology 4
Inclined settling plates deliver settling 3-5x faster than conventional tanks in 3-5x less volume, with no moving parts and no system power requirement.
Core technology 5
CO2 and ozone provide high-efficiency pathogen destruction, advanced oxidation, and final water chemistry conditioning - stronger and faster than chlorine, with no harmful residuals.
Core technology 6
Sand filtration, zeolite media, and optional UV combine for the final level of clarity and discharge confidence, producing low-turbidity water for accurate sensor validation.
Batch process overview
Elapsed time: 30 minutes
Step 1
Holds influent and delivers controlled batches for treatment.
Step 2
Introduce self-dosing gel flocculants matched to the water.
Step 3
Mix conditioned water to promote floc growth and primary settling.
Step 4
Separates fine solids using high-rate lamella clarification.
Step 5
Oxidizes residual organics, inactivates microbes, and optimizes pH.
Step 6
Filters water through sand, adsorbent, and optional UV for final polishing.
The entire train is automated, monitored, and safeguarded by the onboard PLC + HMI, with solids settled and stored for safe disposal.
